As Global Chief of Marketing, Gail Nelson gets to tell the world the story of Siegel+Gale’s strategic and creative successes and its talented people. She brings with her more than 20 years experience, and her skills are broad and unique, combining experiences in branding and positioning, marketing campaigns and product launches, marketing communications and strategy for Fortune 500 and startup companies across a wide variety of industries and sectors.
Prior to becoming beguiled by the firm’s “simple is smart” ethos, Gail was senior vice president, marketing at BurrellesLuce. She oversaw efforts for everything ranging from marketing planning, market research, competitive analysis, and staff and vendor management to lead generation and internal communications. Gail also planned and led the company’s social media marketing program, which included establishing a company-wide policy, corporate blog and bloggers, and a presence on both Twitter and Facebook.
Previously, she led strategic marketing efforts at NaviSys, an Accenture company, and served as Vice President of Marketing for IntraLinks. As an entrepreneur, Gail co-founded and managed both a software marketing business and a successful consulting firm, and she has also served as an officer for Bankers Trust Company.
Gail earned a BA in environmental and urban studies from Montclair State University in New Jersey, as well as a master’s degree in corporate and public communications from Seton Hall University. She treks home to the New Jersey suburbs each evening where she’s greeted by three rescue dogs and her husband, Dave—always in that order.
