Martin Svensson
Director, Business Development, London
Open complete bio...
To say that Martin is in it for the long haul may be an understatement. Fond of cross-country skiing, he recently completed the 90-kilometer Vasaloppet race between Sälen and Mora in his native Sweden. Once the ice melts, he's onto the tennis courts, where his skill at the long rally further identifies him as "The Type" when it come to business development: indefatigable, patient, skilled, competitive. And, did we mention, bright? Martin has a Master of Science in Business Administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he focused his studies on strategic branding and the need for co-ordination of 'identity building' channels and actors (be sure to ask him about it). He also gained a Bachelors Degree in European Marketing at Halmstad University in Sweden, which included an Erasmus exchange with Université Pierre Mendes France. He also studied European culture, history, economics, and philosophy at Karlskrona University, Sweden.
Tireless. Relentless. Talented. Smart. All of which explains why Siegel+Gale is such a good fit for Martin. Prior to this appointment, Martin worked for near 10 years in both business development and brand consulting at Wolff Olins where he gained experience across a range of markets and industries. From London, Martin traverses the Old World from Moscow to Istanbul to Barcelona to Stockholm and many other points on his ceaseless quest to bring to needy clients the benefits of the Siegel+Gale Simplicity philosophy. It's a philosophy that accords nicely with his own. "I admire Siegel+Gale's ability to develop extremely clear and effective brands with pinpoint accuracy in order to help clients with complex brand challenges." Couple that with the strong London team that's been assembled, and things look, quite simply, promising.
